Seacoast African American Cultural Center

Sharing our history within community.

With concerts, educational programs, exhibits from notable artists, an active book group, and valuable collections of African artifacts, the Seacoast African American Cultural Center (SAACC) has become the hub of activity to showcase the contributions of individuals of African descent in the seacoast community.

Exhibits

Many educational materials in local languages are often out of date. We work with school leaders and publishers to ensure that students have access to current textbooks that are age appropriate and written in their primary language.

Events

We create bespoke continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their student communities. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful.

Volunteer at SAACC

We are an entirely volunteer-run nonprofit organization. Volunteers boost our power, lighten the load, and increase our impact.  And most of all, volunteers and interns believe in our cause to celebrate and uplift Black voices, art, culture, and history.
